Italian stories of landscapes, colours and scarves

But the real travellers leave to leave and just: light hearts, similar to balloons that only the case moves eternally, always say 'Come', and do not know why. Their desires have the shapes of the clouds. CHARLES BAUDELAIRE

BEHIND EACH SCARF is a STORY.

Where we find inspiration

For us it is always a challenge to think of a new collection of scarves. We try every time to find an emotional link between colours and nuances and a beautiful story to tell, that speaks of us, the beautiful things of our country and that, in a little dreamy, bring to mind a beautiful memory, a perfume, a place.

Change that can be more or less drastic in the life of each of us and that drives us to make equally more or less drastic choices. Totally changing our natural colour from chocolate to platinum blonde might already be a good idea. But if we don't want to go overboard, we could simply opt for highlights, instantly making our hair lighter with a brilliant touch that never hurts. How to brighten up the face? Surely, the fine weather and the end of this 'dark' period make us crave bright, bright, sometimes even whimsical colours. Why not opt for a light colour? However, it is always good to remember that certain colours do not suit everyone: we must, quite rightly, take into account various factors that characterise us, such as our complexion, before making such a choice. A warmer complexion, for example, is unlikely to go with very light hair. Jennifer Lopez at the 2020 Super Bowl glowing with an amber complexion and light hair: an exception? Of course, this is not a fixed and universally valid rule. Singer Jennifer Lopez is a clear example of an exception that does not confirm the rule. Her hair is very light compared to her complexion; however, this contrast is very flattering for the singer. So, if you love to be daring and want to see yourself as 'different',...

Fruits of Agrigento: a scarf in the Valley of the Gods

Agrigento, in Sicilian Giurgenti, was founded around 580 B.C. by peoples of Rhodian-Cretan origin Numerous peoples have settled on the city's territory, leaving deep traces in its millennial history and culture. The Greek poet Pindar, in one of his poems, called Agrigento the most beautiful of the cities built by men. It was the 5th century B.C. and, in fact, the then Greek colony in Sicily was experiencing its moment of greatest splendour, before the decline initiated by the start of the Punic Wars. Agrigentum is the Latinised name of the city, conquered by the Romans during the wars with Carthage. Later the city was dominated by the Arabs, under whom it remained until conquered by the Normans in 1089 A.D. Famous the world over for the Doric temples that stand in the sun-drenched countryside of the so-called Valley of the Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997, Agrigento was also the birthplace of Luigi Pirandello, as well as contemporaries Leonardo Sciascia and Andrea...
