Pure wool woven on a loom and processed in Como to create seven new scarves as warm and rich as tapestries, which bring on the winter fibre par excellence "the woolen yarn the typical iridescence of the silk dyes that characterise each of our creations.
Housed in an elegant red box, this limited edition is the perfect gift for elegant and refined men and women.
Handcrafted in Italy according to the ancient silk and wool traditions of Lake Como, each scarf is produced in a limited edition only a few times a year in a small number of pieces.
It is a designer scarf made in Italy, using innovative dyeing techniques and materials. It is the perfect gift for important occasions. By using prestigious packaging, we wanted to make the experience of giving and receiving a gift something inimitable.
Each scarf is made entirely in Italy with great attention to detail by artisan workshops using traditional methods. Due to the type of workmanship, only a hundred or so scarves can be produced per month and are distributed worldwide.
The tombolino is the characteristic container for each of our scarves. It has a unique and inimitable design that distinguishes My Scarf in a Box™ from any other scarf in the world. Our scarves are sold exclusively with their own tombolino. The tombolino serves to hold our scarves and protect them during transport. It can be reused as a valuable jewellery box.
Making one of our scarves requires very long and complex craft processes: it starts with the traditional printing of the design, followed by dye baths lasting many hours, and then they are taken to a master craftsman in Como, the land of silk, to be made. The wool scarves are unique and follow a special process: the compact wool yarn of the highest quality is passed through the loom like a flat fabric. It is then processed and printed and dyed using the same techniques as for silk scarves. Thanks to a special process, the printed part becomes two-coloured, while the back takes on a uniform colour.
